Ritabhari Chakraborty and Soham Majumdar starrer Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti are winning hearts of everyone. But now, what is next for Ritabhari Chakraborty? There is good news for the fans as the actress will be producing three Bengali films this year.
As reported by The Times of India, Ritabhari said that the three Bengali films will be of different flavours. “Two directors are working on two films and I am looking for the third one. I am not acting in all three.,” the actress added.
Ritabhari made her first appearance in television in the show Ogo Bodhu Sundari. She was even voted by Times of India as the Most Desirable Woman of 2018.
She made her big screen debut with the film Tomar Shange Praner Khela but the film later got stuck. She even worked in films like Barood, Tobu Basanta, Srijit Mukherji's multi starer film Chotushkone. Chakraborty was cast in the Bollywood film 'Pari'.
Her latest release Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti. The film questions all such discriminations. In the trailer, the lead actress is seen correcting the mantra being chanted by a priest at her own wedding. But this was not accepted by society just because she was women. The film makes one think about the old fashioned rites and rituals and even questions the gender imbalance in society. The film breaks many taboos of society and talks about equal rights for women in our society.
