Rituparna Sengupta To Star In Two Bangladeshi Films ‘Gangchil’, ‘Jam’

Rituparna Sengupta To Star In Two Bangladeshi Films ‘Gangchil’, ‘Jam’
Actress Rituparna Sengupta will soon be seen in two Bangladeshi film-‘Gangchil’, ‘Jam’. The actress was last seen in ‘Lime N Light’. The film had a mixed response from the fans. Apart from Rituparna, the film also stars Jeetu Kamal, Sreela Majumder, Sumitro Banerjee and Arjun Chakraborty in pivotal roles. In the film, Rituparna was seen in double roles for the first time.

And now the actress will be seen in Bangladeshi films too. In ‘Gangchil’, she will be seen opposite Ferdous. The film is based on a novel by Bangladesh’s transport minister Obaidul Quader. Rituparna will essay the role of Bijli in the movie.


In Jam, Rituparna will be seen opposite Arifin Shubho. Both were seen together in ‘Ahaa Re’ where he played the role of a Bangladeshi chef.

Meanwhile, Rituparna Sengupta, Saswata Chatterjee’s next film Parcel will be releasing on March 13. The film directed by Indrasis Acharya first poster was shared last year itself but its releasing got delayed for the reasons unknown. Rituparna Sengupta and Saswata Chatterjee are playing the role of husband and wife in the film.

Parcel is a suspense thriller and the story revolves around Nandini and her husband Souvik who have a daughter Suja. Souvik and Nandini are doctors but Nadini latter stopped practising. Their happy married life turned upside down when Nandini starts getting unknown parcels with her photos. Nandini thinks that someone is blackmailing her and starts exploring some dark sides of her past life.
