Leena Gangopadhyay and Saibal Banerjee’s next ‘Sanjhbati’ trailer which stars Dev Adhikari, Paoli Dam Soumitra Chattopadhyay and Lily Chakraborty has just dropped in. Filled with songs, laugh, emotions, the film is a visual and emotional delight. Utterly genuine in concept, assembling and execution, it is a family drama that casts a magical spell on its viewers. The film will release on December 20.

Dev Adhikari took to his Twitter to release the film, “জীবনের চড়াই উৎরাইের মাঝে খুশির আলো খুঁজে দিতে আসছে সাঁঝবাতি এই শীতে”

The film narrates the story of Sulekha, a lonely elderly woman facing difficulties with her loneliness and crankiness. Paoli Dam is her caretaker of Sulekha and her next to door girl look will easily floor her. It will be interesting to see Dev playing normal and simple boy role. Soumitra Chattopadhyay is winning heart with his performance. Everyone in the trailer assures of mind blowing performance in the film.

The film talks about relationship and even puts a question how we treat our parents when they become old. Soumitra Chatterjee and Lily Chakraborty live a lonely life as their children have left them. In such a situation two strangers played by Dev and Paoli Dam who works as their care takers. 

Not many know, Dev was in talks with Atanu Raychaudhuri, the producer, for the last four years. Dev had agreed to do this movie on one condition. He had asked Atanu Raychaudhuri to convince Soumitra Chatterjee to come on board and Atanu informed him that the living legend of Bengali cinema has already said yes.
