Keeping up the trend of releasing Byomkesh movies during the Puja every year, Parambrata Chatterjee is all set to woo his audience in his sleuth avatar. Earlier, Abir Chatterjee, Jishhu Sengupta, and Anirban Bhattacharya had essayed the role Byomkesh.

The official teaser of the movie has been released on social media. “যখন রহস্যের ঘনঘটায় পথ হারায় সত্য, তখন সেই সত্যকে খুঁজে বার করতে একমাত্র ভরসা সত্যান্বেষী ব্যোমকেশ বক্সী!,” tweeted Green Touch Entertainment.

Set in the backdrop of 1971, the teaser starts with Parambrata standing in front of a wall and thinking. The glimpse of protest, police, and violence is shown. Rudranil Ghosh Rudy is also shown investigating something which is not clear in the teaser.

Anjan Dutt who has already directed many Byomkesh movies, has written the screenplay for the film and he will also be there as the creative supervisor for the film.

Parambrata Chatterjee will essay the titular role, Rudranil Ghosh plays Byomkesh’s writer friend, Ajit and Gargee Roy Choudhary will play the role of Sukumari. Anjan Dutt is also in the film, but he will be seen in a role other than the director.

Sayantan Ghosal last directed movie is Sagardwipey Jawker Dhan which featured stars like Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Koel Mallick, Gaurav Chakraborty, and Kanchan Mullick. The film is located in a remote island in Southeast Asia lies the mythical Red Mercury, a chemical compound which could well be the key to resolving the fossil fuel crisis. But that`s not all. Research suggests that this rare compound could also bring about advancements in medical science.
