Srijit Mukherji’s Gumnaami Completes 50 Days At Box Office
Srijit Mukherji’s Gumnaami is one of highest grosser Bengali film of 2019 and now the film which is based on the national freedom fighter Netaji Shubash Chandra Bose has completed 50 days at the box office. The film was appreciated from everyone.

Prosenjit Chatterjee, who essays the tutorial character, took to his official Twitter account, “50 days of #Gumnaami thanks everyone for your love and support. With your support I’m sure it will make another 50 and more. Thanks to @srijitspeaketh for trusting me always.”


The film was released in Hindi after watching the massive success in the Bengali Film Industry. The trailer has been released in two languages—Hindi and Bengali. After the release of the teaser, the film has already been in controversies.

Netaji’s death is still an unsolved mystery. There are lots of speculations about it but most of us are clueless about the truth behind these speculations. The film is based on the book named as “Conundrum” written by Anuj Dhar and Chandrachur Ghose which is actually based on the hearings of Mukherjee Commission.

The film will show three popular theories related with Netaji’s death. These three theories are, he died in the plane crash in Taiwan, he died in Russia and the other theory is that he died at an older age while living a secret life as Gumnaami baba.

Prosenjit will be next seen in Robibar with Jaya Ahsan. The film is releasing on December 27.
