Srijit Mukherji's Vinci Da Is An Official Selection At 19th Dhaka International Film Festival
Srijit Mukherji is enjoying the best times of his life as his most loved thriller movie Vinci Da has been selected as an official selection at the 19th Dhaka International Film Festival. The film stars Ritwick Chakraborty, Anirban Bhattacharya, Riddhi Sen, Gautam Moitra and Sohini Sarkar.

The elated director shared the news on his official Twitter handle and even congratulated the whole team for their work and support.

"After an overwhelming commercial and critical response, #VinciDa receives an Official Selection at the 19th Dhaka International Film Festival, January 2020," SVF tweeted.


Vinci Da was released in 2019 and the story revolves around Vinci Da, an extremely talented make-up artist, struggling in his professional life, faces disasters because of his straight forwardness and arrogance; enters Adi Bose, a serial killer, changing Vinci Da's life forever.

Before Vinci Da, ‘Ek Je Chhilo Raja’ has also reached to international platforms and had been screened at many film festivals. Srijit has also won national award for this movie.

On the work front, Srijit Mukherji is all set to release his controversial movie ‘Gumnaami’.The official poster and teaser of the film have been released. The official poster has created a lot of buzz among the people and increased the curiosity behind the death of Netaji.

The film is based on Gumnaami baba who was assumed to be the legendary freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Baba led the life as Hindu saint in Faizabad in Uttar Pradesh in the 1970s or 80s. Netaji Bose died in a plane crash in 1945 which has been doubted by many.
