Swastika Mukherjee has celebrated her new year with special note to her later father Santu Mukhopadhyay. The actress lost her father recently in March. On Polia Baisakh, the actress shared a video with an emotional message for him on Instagram.
“Today and Everyday. Remembering you Baba, today and everyday. I didn’t think I’ll live a single moment without you but I did, I am. I always wanted to have something of Baba for myself, something that will have his voice, his walk, his empathy, his love and care, something that I can go back and look at. জল জ্যান্ত মানুষটা তার সবটা নিয়ে আমার জন্য আমার কাছে থাকবে। It took many many months for us to convince Baba to say yes and still we lied. @rohinighosh will remember how we told him we are going to Sreerampur to take some pictures and then we got the video done. He constantly kept saying ‘কি করছিস তোরা কিছুই বুঝতে পারছিনা, এতবার জামা change করাচ্ছিস কেন?’ And we kept saying it will just take 10mins more Baba/Jethu/Kaku.
