The sudden demise of veteran actor and former TMC MP Tapas Pal has left many celebrities and his fans in shock. The actor suffered cardiac arrest at Mumbai airport. Tapas made his debut in Bengali cinema in the film Dadar Kirti. The film was blockbuster hit and was critically acclaimed film. After this film Pal as he emerged as the jubilee star of the Tollywood.

1. Saheb: Director Bijoy Basu’s family drama was super hit film. The story revolves around a boy named Saheb who is a talented footballer but is often teased by his arrogant brothers and ignored by his parents. His sister-in-law and sister care for him. One day Saheb’s sister marriage was fixed in a well-educated family but the budget of her marriage was too much. So, Saheb decides to sell his kidney but did not reveal the secret to the family.
2. Dadar Kirti: The film is considered as one the best performances. In the film, Tapas is seen essaying the role of playing Kedar. The story revolves around advocate Nivaran Chatterjee who lives in a small town along with his wife, and three sons. His second son Kedarnath has some mental issues because he had suffered a head injury. Amarnath, is Nivrana’sthird son, falls in love with Beeni Mukherjee. She has an elder dominating sister Saraswati and Kedar is attracted to Saraswati but cannot tell him. Kedar meets with Saraswati and they fall for each other but later Saraswati finds out that Kedarnath is a fraud and get ready to marry to a rich man.
3. Bhalobasa Bhalobasa: Tapas Pal wishes to have a good life with a business and to fulfill his wish he starts his own venture. One day he meets a girl Keya who changes his world. But Keya father is very strict and has already fixed her marriage. But what will be Keya decision now?
4. Mangal Deep: Deep and Mangal are two friends. Deep has talent of singing and Mangal always encouraged him. Deep and Mangal went to Kolkata for a better opportunity but they face lots of criticism and fraud. On the other hand, they met one man Ramu who helped them a lot in their career. One day both meet Chandra who was a daughter of a rich man. Within a very small time Deep got fame, money everything and difference started coming in between. As a result, Mangal left Deep. When Deep came to know about the conspiracy and appologise to Mangal.
5. Guru Dakshina: The film is about a man Jayanta who belongs from a poor family. He was brought up by his Musician teacher and widowed sister in law. Jayanta has a melodious voice and takes him to Kolkata where he earns fame and fortune. There he falls in love with a girl Rupa who is daughter of a rich and corrupt businessman. But then he lands into a problem and how he tackles them
