Arpita Chatterjee has won best-supporting actress award for her two films—Bohomaan and Purbo Paschim Dokkhin Uttor Ashbei at the Telangana Bengali Film Festival 2019. The actress shared the news on her social media handle.

Anumita Dasgupta’s Bohomaan revolves around the two lovers who are forcefully separated at their young age and they again met when they have grown old. Now, they are parents. But when they saw each other after so many years, their old love was once again blossom. Will they get second chance? 

Purbo Paschim Dokkhin Uttor Ashbei is suspense thriller film. The film has three short stories and all are in flashback. Arpita Chatterjee is traveling in train and her co-passenger narrates her stories to pass the time. She also listens and finds it interesting. The film was filled with black magic, ghosts and supernatural powers. The film features Arpita Chatterjee, Kamaleshwar Mukherjee, Gaurav Chakrabarty, Rajesh Sharma, Padmanava Dasgupta, Bidipta Chakroborty and Anyann Bhowmick.
