Jisshu Sengupta has his hands full of projects right from Bengali to Bollywood. The actor will soon be seen in a Bollywood film Durgavati which is a Hindi remake of a Telugu horror film Bhaagamathie’.
Jisshu is also self-quarantine and keeping himself busy by working out. He even shared a picture on social media and fans are in love with it.
On the work, Jisshu will be seen next in Sadak 2 where he will be essaying the role of Alia Bhatt’s father. Next, he will be featured as Vidya Balan's husband in Shakuntala Devi. Vidya Balan will play the role of math genius Shakuntala Devi and Jisshu will play her on-screen husband Paritosh Banerji who was an IAS officer from Kolkata and was married to Shakuntala. However, they got separated in 1979. The film is directed by Anu Menon.

He has also been chosen to play the role of young Soumitra Chatterjee’s role. Parambrata Chatterjee will be directing a film on thespian actor Soumitra Chatterjee titled ‘Abhijaan’.
