Victorian Love Story Datta's Next Schedule To Begin In February; Nirmal Chakraborty Is All Set To Don Director's Hat
Nirmal Chakraborty much delayed film Datta shooting is finally going to start from next month. The film was announced last year but got delayed as Bangladeshi actor Ferdous Ahmed was not permitted to visit India. After which there was changes in the star cast. Rituparna Sengupta is the lead actress of the film.

Ferdous Ahmed was the lead actor and now he has been replaced by Shaheb Chatterjee.  Ferdous, who was essaying the role of Bilash in the film, was in India to shoot for Datta in April last year.  


The film got stuck when Ferdous during his April visit was seen at a political rally where he campaigned for a TMC candidate. Following which the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) blacklisted him from visiting India.  After the incident, the film has been on hold.

This is Nirmal Chakraborty’s first film direction. The star cast includes stars Joy Sengupta, Biswajeet Chakraborty, Rituparna Sengupta.
