Bipasha Basu Confesses: 'I Am A Mess Before Shooting Intimate Scenes, They Terrify Me'- EXCLUSIVE
Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover are making a comeback together with their web series, Dangerous. The couple, who is known for setting the temperature high, will be seen doing something similar in this thriller series.

We had an opportunity to interview the couple who not only revealed us about working together yet again. In the same conversation, Bipasha who performs intimate scenes so convincingly, revealed how terrifying she feels before doing it. Watch the video below:

How does it feel sharing the screen space after such a long time?
Bipasha: It's not a very different feeling and doesn't seem like it's been a huge gap. I am glad that there are OTT platforms as we actors can showcase our talents and entertain the audiences.

Karan what was your reaction when you got to know you have to romance your wife on screen?
Karan Singh Grover: Working with Bipasha is the same as there is a particular way she works. I get to romance her every day of my life.
Bipasha Basu: He is totally romantic and our worlds are very interesting because I am so practical and he is such a dreamer- so we kind of try balancing each other all the time. He shows me some dreams. I get him down to reality.
Karan Singh Grover: It's good or else without her I would be like a floating cloud somewhere.
Bipasha Basu: And without him I would be too grounded.
Karan Singh Grover: I always say that I would love to do all my work with her but I don't think she can stand me so much.
Bipasha Basu: I don't say that. I think we should work once in a while together when both of us are happy as an individual actor and choose the same subject, Otherwise we should work with other people.

This lock down also gave us time to spend time with our family and loved ones. What new things have you two discovered about each other in this phase?
Karan Singh Grover: We spent all our time with each other.
Bipasha Basu: Karan was always working and I had taken a little bit of break. This time both of us were in the house all the time. But whenever he used to get days off, we used to make sure that entire day we spent with each other. And Karan is a homebody, he doesn't like to go out at all. His gym is also in the house. He likes to paint all day. He spends his time on the terrace with Sun as he calls Sun his father.

Even now during the lockdown he wakes up at 5 and I wake up between 6:30-7:30. Till that time he finishes his work out, has his breakfast go up and paints till evening. Only after 4:30 we start spending time. But yaa all the meals we have together. So it's a very scheduled life for us. It's not like 24 hours we are stuck with each other, we do our work and after 4:30 we have our couple time.

How did you guys divide household chores during this period?
Bipasha Basu: We are very very garteful we have our househelp. But we had a lot of coordination to do because suddenly all the basic supplies we couldn't find from our regular people. And our driver and other help was not there, so yeah, figuring all that out was quite a task.
Karan Singh Grover: That division of work was also 99.9% was her and .1 was mine.
Bipasha Basu: He has actually now stepped up in terms of household chores.

What were the pros and cons of working with your better-half?
Karna Singh Grover: While shooting this film I knew her much more than I knew her during Alone. I knew what could upset her or annoy her or distract her from the work- so those were things I could take care of.
Bipasha Basu: When a couple is on the set as an actor- they are firstly actors and then a couple. And it's plus only because intimate scenes are easier. They are not at all stressful and you don't get a fever. With another co-star, I am like 'Oh my god, I try to cancel it by saying dar lag raha hai, chakkar aa raha hai' so all that was not there. I am a mess just before an intimate scene.

But you are known for doing these scenes so gracefully?
Bipasha Basu: It's my face and personality which adds sex appeal to those scenes. I don't think anything happening there is actually doing work or creating any magic. As an actor, such scenes are terrifying for me. Like when I had to kiss R Madhvan who is a very dear friend of mine in Jodi Breakers, I had a mini cardiac arrest one day before. I was like what to do? Oh please! And my friends Rocky and Diya were travelling with me. They were like Bips, it's Madhvan you know him. He is your friend and I said that is the bigger problem, it's Maddy. And after I shot for the scene you can't imagine how much everyone laughed including Maddy. I am a walking talking mess before intimate scenes. I am actually very entertaining for everyone on sets.
