It’s been quite up and down, exciting, exhilarating, it’s been dull, boring….every emotion you can imagine. But, now when I look at my journey in Bollywood, I just knew all of those things were small pieces towards a larger sort of plan which just had to fall in place the way it fell in place. I remember during my childhood, when I used to travel with my family from Juhu to towns, I use to see a lot of buildings pass by and they had lights lit up. This thought looked very daunting to me and I always used to think about their stories, their lives, and their difficulties. I believe there is a story in every household. I wish I was like a fly on every wall to know what their story is. I always want to know the stories of the crowd around me. I sometimes imagine what must be happening in their lives. And, for me, that’s movies and characters. When I walk in a crowd, I imagine stories. That’s my world and that’s the reason why I am here.”
