Sonali Bendre has undergone a lot in the recent past. She is bravely battling cancer and on her road to recovery. Touch wood! We got an opportunity to connect with her husband and filmmaker Goldie Behl, who has now got into making web shows. Currently, he is on the verge of completing his third series, Rejctx (on ZEE5). We met him at his Andheri office yesterday evening.
We also asked Goldie about his wife Sonali’s illness and the recovery phase. The last one year has been terrible for their family but they braved it out. SEE FULL INTERVIEW BELOW.
Going back to the show, Goldie told us that Rejctx revolved around the youth. He was candid enough to say that he had picked up some aspects from his son Ranveer and nephew Veer, while writing the story. The show stars Sumeet Vyas and Kubbra Sait amongst many others.
We also touched upon why he has gone into web space. Will he go back to films? Goldie replied in the affirmative and did not bat an eyelid before saying that it was not just the budget of his films but also the narrative which had him let down. Kudos!
