Jaaved Jaaferi On Son Meezaan Jaaferi's Bollywood Stint: 'Despite Being Two Films Old, The Kind Of Appreciation He Is Receiving Is Beyond Words'-EXCLUSIVE
Jaaved Jaaferi’s son Meezaan Jafri is one of the most promising actors that we have in Bollywood. The star kid, who started his career as an assistant director in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Bajirao Mastani, is the third generation to try his luck in Hindi Cinema. Meezan’s grandfather Jagdeep Jafri and father Javed are veteran actors of Indian Cinema. Meezaan made his impressive Bollywood debut with Mangesh Hadawale’s romantic drama film 'Malaal' alongside Sharmin Segal. He recently won hearts with his stellar performance in Priyadarshan’s Hungama 2.

Despite being just two films old, Meezaan has managed to create a space for himself. And, his father Jaaved Jaaferi is happy to see that his son is being appreciated for his work. In an exclusive chat with SpotboyE.com, the senior actor talked about how proud he is of his son.

“It is a proud feeling to see Meezaan being appreciated for his work. Despite him being only two films old, the kind of appreciation he is receiving goes beyond words. Having said that, I believe that the times are changing and everyone has the right to decide for themselves and choose their own paths. The same goes for my kids as well and they have my full support no matter which career path they choose as long as they are humble, honest, keep their feet firmly on the ground and head on their shoulders,” Jaaved shares.

The Boogie Woogie host, who has given his voice in the upcoming kid’s entertainment show ‘Ding Dong Bell, Masti ka Khel’, also spoke about his experience of working with kids. “I am delighted to associate with Sony YAY! and be a part of Ding Dong Bell, Masti ka Khel. This show is a series of hilarious chase stories of Kukkads vs Bhukkad which allows me to narrate their ‘Masti ka Khel’ and bring out all the mischief and laughter in these adventures. This, along with the abundance of comedy on display, made these characters immensely funny and stand out,” the actor explained.

Jaaved Jaaferi also looked back at his journey as a voiceover artist and stated that he has always loved this form of art. He signs off saying, “I feel like it’s like an extension of my work. I believe you can explore so much more as an actor when you lend your voice to a character. You can define and mould it better and give it your all by putting life into it. As vocal expression is an integral part of acting, this aspect of storytelling gives you the freedom to create and explore various aspects of the character. There is truly no better feeling for an artist who is always looking to improve.”
