Actress Neha Dhupia is currently riding high on the success of her recently released film ‘A Thursday’, which saw her in the role of a pregnant cop. During the shoot of the film, the actress was actually expecting her second child, Guriq who was born in October 2021. Neha’s brilliant performance in Yami Gautam starrer has left everyone mighty impressed with the actress. In a recent chat with SpotboyE.com, Neha opened up about the challenges she faced while shooting for the film during her third trimester.

Neha shared that it was mentally and physically quite taxing for her to shoot under extreme conditions. But the biggest challenge was imposed because of the Covid 19 pandemic as she was shooting the movie during the pandemic, so the larger fear was that. Neha also recalled a scene when she had to shoot amidst heavy rain and revealed it was quite scary for her. Neha also mentioned that when the woman is pregnant, she is actually the strongest woman in the world and hence she believes that there is no harm in working while expecting. Furthermore, the Singh Is King actress also revealed her inspiration to play the role of a pregnant cop in the suspense thriller. Neha stated that before starting the shoot for the film she was watching Lior Raz starrer show ‘Hit and Run’ and in there a character of Tali, who's pregnant,’ left an indelible mark on her mind. She also admitted she was able to relate a lot to Tali’s character.



A Thursday, directed by Behzad Khambata, is a sequel to Neeraj Pandey’s 2008 film A Wednesday! The film narrated a story of Naina (Yami), a playschool teacher in Mumbai who takes little kids hostage, demanding Rs. 5 crore, and a chat with the Prime Minister, played by Dimple Kapadia.
