In an exclusive chat with SpotboyE.com, Marjaavaan leads Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria speak about their film, discuss their career highs and lows and also the status on their off screen romance
As Marjaavanis slated to release on Nov 15, it was the right time to meet the leads Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria for an engaging conversation around the film and lots more. We began the interview by asking Sid about how it felt to move out of the chocolate boy image and do maar dhaad in this film.
The excitement was evident through his expressions as he called it an ‘intense love story’ and also revealed that it’s for the first time that he got to play a quintessential hero on screen. He also explained his director Milap Zaveri’s obsession with 90’s action heroes. WATCH VIDEO BELOW:
The same question was posed to Tara, who will be seen on the big screen for the second time after Student of the Year 2 that marked her Bollywood debut. The actress in a very excited tone spoke about her character and what drew her closer to the film. It was a challenge for the actress to play a mute character on celluloid and but she was up for it.
Knowing that their earlier films didn’t click at the box-office, we expected them to be under immense pressure for Marjaavaan. Sid started off by saying that it’s natural for anyone to expect his product to do well and if the earlier film didn’t live up to the expectations, then the hunger increases. Tara added that she is both nervous and excited at the same time.
While we’re all seeing their passionate chemistry in the film, it is believed that they have called off their relationship, while some industry tongues are wagging that they still have the hots for each other and it’s not all over.
So, we broached the subject about their love story. Yet again, Sidharth dodges the question and passes it on to Tara who says, ‘I think everyone should have the time for love.’ We are about to expect some positive reply but Sidharth bursts the bubble by saying that he is single and not seeing anyone.
We even did a rapid fire segment with the duo asking them personal questions about each other. Both came out with flying colours, clearly indicating that they new each other well.
