Arjun Patiala Box-Office Collections Day 1: Kriti Sanon, Diljit Dosanjh And Varun Sharma Starrer Sees A Gloomy Opening

Looks like, makers of Kriti Sanon, Varun Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh starrer Arjun Patiala must be thinking that the film should have not clashed the film with Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao’s Judgementall Hai Kya. While Ekta’s film is leading at the box-office, Dinesh Vijan’s next, which is touted to be a comedy film, had a dull Friday. Arjun Patiala hit the theatres yesterday, marking a strong clash with Kangana’s JHK, the film is far from reaching Rs 2 Crore mark.
According to Box Office India report, the film earned approximately Rs 1.25 crore on its opening day. “Arjun Patiala is a spoof film and these films never really do well in India and Arjun Patiala had a very poor turnout with collections of 1.25 crore nett. The Diljit Dosanjh factor has not helped in North as spoof films have totally no market there whereas in Mumbai or Bangalore they may have some chance. The film will find it a huge struggle from here on,” states BOI report.
SpotboyE Editor Vickey Lalwani rate Arjun Patiala with 1.5 stars and wrote, “Arjun Patiala has driven me first to a chemist to buy a strip of strong analgesic and I need to sit down somewhere in solitude to recover my well-being. Rohit Jugraj's attempt to make you have fun might make you suspect that the film was written without a script and screenplay. Why do many filmmakers try to make you laugh but end up giving you deep agony? Arjun Patiala is as repulsive as..., I am not getting the word, please condone me for that.”
