Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh are having a really good New Year as their recently released film, Good Newwz is seeing some good numbers coming in their account. The film which had a double-digit opening on December 27 is picking up its pace very quickly and have already crossed the Rs. 50 crore mark with full glory, thanks to its unusual content of IVF, a good word of mouth and of course, the star cast of the film. So far, the film has collected Rs. 17.56 crores on day 1, Rs. 21.78 crores on day 2 and now on the third day, the film has seen a good jump on day 3 which was pretty much expected.
Good Newwz has raked in Rs. 25.65 crores on its third day at the domestic markets, making the grand total to Rs. 64.99 crores at its first weekend. While sharing the official numbers of the film, the makers of Good Newwz shared the numbers, saying, “Thank you for being a part of the biggest goof-up with the Batras!” With a constant increase in collections on a daily basis, we hope to see the same consistency on Monday as well since Mondays are usually considered to be the ‘litmus test’, the film should be stable. The pace the film is collecting at the box-office, it seems like the Rs. 100 crores is not far for Good Newwz to achieve it by the end of this week.
