Great Grand Masti fails

After a low start on Friday, Great Grand Masti failed to gain momentum over the rest of the weekend. The Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani starrer garnered Rs 2.3 crore on Saturday and Rs 3.2 crore on Sunday, thus taking the weekend tally to a meagre Rs 7.9 crore.
One can argue that the film would have collected higher numbers had it not been leaked online. However, it is clear that the third instalment of the adult comedy lags far behind its prequel Grand Masti, which had opened on a rocking note in 2013 and gone on to become a 100-crore grosser.
