Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt's Gully Boy has proven to be a superhit. The film, which opened to box-office at Rs 19.40 crore, took a dip on Day 2 and collected Rs 12.75 crore but Day 3 gets positive news for Zoya Akhtar and team.
According to Box Office India, Gully Boy has minted Rs 18.50 crore on Day 3, totalling to a Rs 50.65 (approximately) in its first three days. Looks like the film is gaining momentum with time.
The film has received rave reviews across. SpotboyE.com Editor Vickey Lalwani also rated it 4.5 stars.In his review, while praising the captain of the ship, Zoya Akhtar, he wrote, “Zoya Akhtar, hats off to you! You have proved that you are to be trusted with not just the urban milieu. What writing! What direction! You are a filmmaker who can squeeze the best from anybody. You like this boyish look of Ranveer (a la Dil Dhadakne Do), Dippy finds him hotter in this avatar and now include me in that list of admirers.”

Ranveer Singh has given an impeccable performance which has won many hearts. He plays an underdog like a pro, keeping his emotions suppressed and erupts at the right time, with a controlled yet a powerful performance. Alia (Safeena) too has done justice to the job she was given. When she isn't on-screen, you surely miss Safeena. Overall, things look bright for Team Gully Boy and trade has it that Sunday will be positive for the film.
