A love triangle makes any plot interesting as it is a tried and tested formula for dozens of Bollywood super hit movies.
The latest to join the brigade is Nitesh Tiwari’s wife, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s directorial, Bareilly Ki Barfi. The film stars Rajkummar Rao, Ayushmann Khurrana and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles.
The 2.50 minutes trailer starts with the introduction of Kriti Sanon’s character as Bitti. She is a rebellious small town girl who lives her life to the fullest. Dialogues like, ‘Break dance karti hai, english movies dekhti hai’ suggests her rebellious attitude.

Bitti is shown to be glued to a book titled, ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, which is penned by Rajkummar Rao. She relates to a character in the book so much that she sets off on a chase to find the author (Rajkummar Rao), which is when she comes across Ayushmann Khurrana (who knows Rajkummar Rao).
Ayushmann, who has secretly fallen in love with Kriti, threatens Rajkummar to make sure that she doesn’t fall for him. And then the drama begins.
The film looks to be extremely gripping and entertaining. From the trailer, it appears that Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari has done full justice to the film. Kriti, Ayushmann and Rajkummar also look superb in their respective roles.
