Gully Boy Trailer: Boy! Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt Will Instantly W‘Rap’ You Up In Their Intense Drama
After teasing fans with posters and an engaging teaser, the trailer of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer Gully Boy is out and what do we say, it’s simply marvellous.

The trailer starts with Ranveer Singh walking out dejected from a rappers’ face-off and slowly unfolds his struggle to achieve his dream, which is to become a renowned rapper. Alia’s character is introduced with a lot of wit and humour and you burst out laughing on her one-liners. Watch the trailer below:

The music of the film seems to be promising, and the background score throughout the trailer , music is extremely peppy and catchy .We loved the way Ranveer’s character has been sketched out and the zing with which he plays the role. Alia, in a completely different avatar, has nailed it with just two dialogues in the trailer.

A few minutes back, the cast of the film unveiled the trailer at an event. Ranveer, dressed in almost all colours available on the palette, rapped LIVE for the ones present there.  The team also cut a cake for Farhan Akhtar, who celebrates his birthday today.

Gully Boy is directed by Zoya Akhtar, produced by Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and Zoya Akhtar. The story is based on the life of Divine and Naezy (Naved Shaikh), who are underground rappers from Mumbai. The movie will be releasing on 14th of February, 2019. Before releasing in India, Gully Boy will premiere in Berlinale. The movie also stars Kalki Koechlin in a pivotal role. The film hits theatres on February 14.
