Laal Kaptaan Trailer: Saif Ali Khan As A Merciless Naga Sadhu Will Send Chills Down Your Spine
The first trailer of Saif Ali Khan’s Laal Kaptaan is out and it was surely worth the wait. In the film, Saif Ali Khan will be essaying a never-seen-before avatar of a Naga Sadhu, who is out and out seeking for revenge and can go up to any extent for his hunt. Well, one look at it, and you will realise it that no other actor than Saif Ali Khan could have pulled off such an intense role. The trailer of Laal Kaptaan commences with a voiceover of Khan, who is seen rubbing ashes on his forehead and talking about the game of life and death.

The actor refers to Yamraj, the Hindu god of death, as he says, “Aadmi ke paida hote hi, kaal apne bhaise pe chal padta hai...use baapis libane (As soon as a man is born, death mounts his ox and begins a journey to bring the man back.” In the next scene, we get to see Saif in a completely dangerous avatar, as he drags a dead man behind his horse through the two, with a lot of rage in his eyes. We also get to hear Sonakshi Sinha’s voiceover, who describes Saif Ali Khan’s character as a man who doesn’t leave his prey until it is dead. Check out the trailer below:

While the film’s unique and dreadful storyline has left us impressed, a special mention to Saif Ali Khan’s look as a merciless Naga Sadhu, which has been extremely convincing. Right from the ashes on his face to his massive dreadlocks; it looks like the Nawab has pulled off yet another character with ease. We are absolutely looking forward to Saif Ali Khan’s intense performance in Laal Kaptaan, which is slated to release on October 18, 2019.
