Kangana Ranaut and Jassie Gill’s Panga is one of the most-awaited films in Bollywood. The film anyway grabbed a lot of eyeballs as Kangana will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar as she will be essaying the role of a pro kabaddi player and the other one is that she will be playing a mother for the second time. Ahead of Panga trailer launch, Kangana was also seen selling tickets at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus ticket window. However, after gaining the proper amount of buzz around the film, the makers have finally decided to release the first trailer of Panga and it’s pretty emotional as well as inspirational.
In the film, Kangana is seen stuck in a rut where she struggles in life, leaving her dreams behind. From getting a job, getting married to having kids, Kangana has forgotten a life beyond all this. Panga is about taking up a challenge. While being a mother and daughter-in-law, focusing on personal goals becomes difficult. But this film shows how to live your dream. In the film, Jassie Gill plays her husband who also has a kid while Neena Gupta plays mother to Kangana’s character in Panga. Talking about Kangana, the director was quoted saying to Mumbai Mirror, “Kangana had to put on some weight, but her body type is such that it doesn’t look extra on her. She immediately lost the kilos but has put them back for her next. I don’t know how she does it over and over; I have difficulty losing even once.”
Panga is helmed with Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari who previously helmed Bareilly Ki Barfi. Panga is scheduled to release on January 24, 2019, clashing it with Street Dancer 3D starring Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi.
