Taapsee as Chandro Tomar and Bhumi as Prakashi Tomar are the coolest badass dadis one will ever see in their lives. In the trailer, Tomar sisters prove that 'hunar ki koi umar na hove' and that age is just a number. From shooting the gun to fighting for their daughters' lives, Taapsee and Bhumi have definitely hit the bull's eye and how! They proved that they are not Patakas, they are that killer sharpshooter dadis who will aim and shoot.
The trailer starts off how holding a gun is an actual accessory to guys and not for women, however, the Tomar Sisters prove their family and the whole nation when they picked up the gun for the betterment of their daughters. In the trailer, Coach Dr. Rajpal who had been national level player in shooting convinced local government to open the “johri rifle club." The only thing required was to get enough participants from the villages to take the training there, enter Chandro and Prakashi who face the world with confidence and belief.
Talking about the movie, Saand Ki Aankh is based on a true story. Before 1998, Johri village in the interiors of Uttar Pradesh was just like any other village in India. But during this time something extraordinary started, which took this village to national and international levels of success and fame. As a result of which this village had become an inspiring example for the entire nation.
Apart from Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar, the film also has a talented ensemble star cast including Prakash Jha, Vineet Singh Kumar among others, making the film one with powerhouse performances.
