Finally, the trailer of Student Of The Year 2 is out. The 2nd instalment of 2012’s hit franchise marks the debut of Chunky Pandya’s daughter Ananya and Tara Sutaria with Tiger Shroff
The much-awaited trailer of Student Of The Year 2 released, a few minutes back. The film marks the debut of Chunky Panday’s daughter Ananya and Tara Sutaria paired opposite Tiger Shroff. Since two days, the makers are creating a buzz around the film, by releasing numerous posters of the trio. SOTY 2 is the 2nd instalment of 2012’s hit franchise with same title. It had marked the debut of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra.
The 3-minute-long trailer starts with a glimpse of the college and later introduces the new batch- Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday. Debutantes Tara and Ananya look gorgeous and glamorous on-screen. The trailer then sees the love triangle between the 3 students:
Apart from the cast, Aditya Seal plays the villain and is seen doing a roundhouse kick in the trailer, which tells us that he will be seen doing many such action scenes in the film.

To talk about the trailer launch, it was a fun-filled event. During the launch, Karan Johar asked Tiger Shroff to choose between the two leading ladies- Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria. Further, KJo revealed how Hollywood star Will Smith landed on sets of SOTY 2 and grooved to Radha Teri Chunari from the first instalment of the franchise.

The event ended on a high note, when Tara left the audience mesmerised with her melodious voice. The actress sung Lag Jaa Gale.

SOTY 2 is directed by Punit Malhotra, produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta under Dharma Productions banner, in collaboration with Fox Star Studios. The film will hit the theatres on May 10, 2019.
