A day after teasing fans with the first chapter of Meri Pyaari Bindu’s trailer – Samosa Aur Chutney – here’s the second chapter titled – Gabbar Aur Sambha.
Spotboye.com was invited to the special screening of all 5 chapters of Meri Pyaari Bindu at Yash Raj Studios yesterday and they were a delight to say the least. We met the film’s lead pair, Parineeti and Ayushmann Khurrana and they looked visibly elated. Also present were co-producer Maneesh Sharma and director Akshay Roy.
Gabbar Aur Sambha traces Abhimanyu (Ayushmann) and Bindu’s (Parineeti) unbreakable bond. While Bindu is showcased as the mischievous, ‘jugadu’, shortcut-loving chirpy girl, Abhi is the pliant one. He acts as the perfect foil to Bindu’s character. In fact, at one point in this chapter, he mouths “Agar woh Gabbar hai to main Sambha hoon, agar wo Munnabhai hai to main Circuit hoon, agar wo Guruji hai to main Bhola hoon.” Perfect way to sum up their relationship.
Meri Pyaari Bindu has been arousing curiosity ever since it went on floors. The project’s teaser, Parineeti debut playback, Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin have already got people talking.
Revealing certain aspects about the film through chapters is an interesting way of connecting with viewers.
In the film, Parineeti Chopra plays Bindu -- a singer while Ayushmann Khurrana plays the character of Abhimanyu Roy, a novelist who specializes in writing horror or may be erotic thriller stories. On the poster, Ayushmann is seen holding a novel whose title reads, 'Chudail Ki Choli'. Meri Pyaari Bindu would release on May 12.
