Shreya proved, yet again, that there is no beating her when it comes to high-pitched euphonious songs. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s (male vocals) trademark singing style coupled with Shreya’s balanced act, make this one a winner.
This track brings out Shreya’s naughty side. The peppy and raunchy number from The Dirty Picture (2011), is sung with a lot of gusto and cemented the notion that Shreya is a versatile singer. The track is co- sung by Bappi Lahiri.
Chikni Chameli (Agneepath)
Shreya experimented with her singing style yet again and knocked it out of the park. Chikni Chameli from Agneepath (2012) became the biggest rage in that year and till date, is a nightclub’s favourite.
The songstress collaborated with her mentor Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Nagada Sang Dhol from Ram Leela (2013). This filmmaker-singer duo can never go wrong. Can they?
Manwa Lage is probably the stand-out number from the music album of Happy New Year (2014). The fact that the makers decided to keep it simple and soothing worked in its favour.
The song from the magnum opus, Bajirao Mastani (2015) is a tribute to the track Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kya and Shreya hits bull’s eye with her poignant vocals.
