The Ajay Devgn-Kareena Kapoor starrer released on November 5 and was given a blockbuster verdict with an opening collection of Rs. 83 lakh. With a lifetime collection of Rs. 1,08,06,00, the comedy was the second highest-grosser of 2010.

RA.One

Shah Rukh Khan is known to dominate the box-office almost every Diwali. His 2011 release, Ra.One came with a lot of expectations. The superhero film didn't exactly break box-office records but did above average business with box-office collections reading 1,13,94,75,000.

2012
Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Son Of Sardaar

We told you, Diwali and Shah Rukh films are synonymous. In 2012 too, the superstar enjoyed a Diwali release. This time, it was Yash Chopra's swan song, Jab Tak Hai Jaan. The SRK-Katrina Kaif-Anushka Sharma starrer clashed at the box-office with Ajay Devgn-Sonakshi Sinha starrer Son Of Sardaar.
Despite the face-off, both films were box-office hits. While Jab Tak Hai Jaan's lifetime collections were to the tune of 1,01,59,00,000 (all time rank - 107), Son Of Sardaar collected Rs. 88.68 crore (all time rank - 110).

Krrish 3

After Koi Mil Gaya and Krrish made their presence felt at the box-office, Hrithik Roshan returned with the third instalment of the franchise. Krrish 3 released over the Diwali weekend and much like its prequels, this too set the cash registers ringing. The film's total collection was 1,75,93,50,000.

Happy New Year

Shah Rukh returned had yet another Diwali outing last year. This time, with his good friend Farah Khan. The multi-starrer, which also featured Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani, Vivaan Shah and Jackie Shroff won hearts. It also marked little AbRam's debut on the big screen. The total collection of the film stands at 1,78,41,00,000.
