Though Kangana Ranaut is an open book there are many things her fans still don't know about her. As the actress celebrates her 34th birthday today and is also being lauded for her power-packed portrayal of the late Jayalalitha in the recently released trailer Thalaivi, we bring to you 10 things that you didn't know about Ranaut.

Hosted by the Pancholis: After her arrival from Himachal Pradesh, Kangna was hosted in Mumbai by Aditya Pancholi. She even stayed in a flat owned by the Pancholis.

Anurag Basu spotted Kangana at a coffee shop: Was spotted by Anurag Basu at a coffee shop to be signed for Gangster, though this version of her beginning in Bollywood has been challenged by many.

Kangana and her love life: After Aditya Pancholi, it was Shekhar Suman’s son that Kangana was closely associated with. There was also a mysterious British boyfriend whom no one had seen. Currently embroiled in a legal brawl with a  superstar.
