Did you know that the first cut of the film was 7 hours and 30 mins long? Yes, Aamir Khan and director Ashutosh Gowariker had to cut down a lot from the film in order to fit it to its final 3 hours and 45 minutes of runtime. Considering today's films, even this seems like a mammoth.

Did you know that Ashutosh Gowarikar first offered the film to Hrithik Roshan?
