WATCH: When Bollywood Shed Clothes And Went NUDE Internationally...

I guess it’s a trend – Go all out! Paoli Dam has done it — gone nude on-screen, the film in question is Sri Lankan director Vimukthi Jayasundara’s controversial Chhatrak (Mushroom in English).

Priyanka Chopra’s steamy scenes in Quantico, Radhika Apte’s leaked scene from Anurag Kashyap’s short film Madly, Anu Agarwal in The Cloud Door, all these and few more went viral on social media, when these ladies shed their inhibitions to cater to an international audience.

Why haven’t I seen these ladies taking this bold a step here in India? May be the makers and the actors know they can’t stretch the limit to this extent in Bollywood. So, I believe actors or directors, who think that the level of nudity they want to show through their work will be banned in India, select an international audience and cater to them instead.

Would they have dared to do this in India? I don’t think so! Check out these few actresses who had no inhibitions in doing such scenes across the border:

Priyanka Chopra (Quantico)

Radhika Apte (Madly)

Simi Garewal (Siddharth)

Paoli Dam (Chattrak)

Anu Agarwal (The Cloud Door)

Aishwarya Rai (Mistress of Spices)

Frieda Pinto (Trishna)
