With every film, Ranveer Singh manages to leave us enthralled and guess what, his upcoming film, '83 is not going to be an exception. Ranveer Singh has stepped into the shoes of cricket legend Kapil Dev to recreate the heroic victory of the Indian cricket team in 1983 World Cup. Ranveer has tried to do full justice to Kapil Dev's character and the uncanny resemblance they share has left is speechless.

Recently, Ranveer Singh shared a still from the film that sees him lifting the World Cup post the victory. Holding the cup in his hand and flashing it to cameras, Ranveer sports a broad smile on his face. He is in formal cricket clothes with a blue jacket and a white sweater. He sports a mustache just like Kapil Dev and it indeed feels that we have time-traveled to 1983 when India proudly lifted the World Cup.

All the Ranveer Singh fans are totally bowled witnessing the striking resemblance he shares with Kapil Dev. In the comment section, fans are going gaga over Ranveer's look. Indeed, this one is going to be a milestone in Ranveer's career just like all his other films. '83 directed by Kabir Khan also stars Deepika Padukone in a special appearance. She will be seen as Kapil Dev's wife Romi Bhatia opposite Ranveer.
