Yes, the filmmaker has heaped praises on the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress and how he has reached out to the actress several times after watching her work. He expressed his desire to work with the actress but revealed how he couldn't afford the actress. If given a chance, the 30-year-old is ready to work under the budget of his film, Anurag is more than happy to work with the Bollywood star. Kashyap also called Alia Bhatt the 'best performer' of the nation and spoke highly about the Heart of Stone star. Speaking about this AK further said, "I don’t believe in wishful thinking. I don’t chase actors more than once. If they tell me to make adjustments to the script, I do it, but mostly, their hesitation is enough to get me to back out. Because if their heart isn’t in it, you can tell immediately on the screen."
The 50-year-old also talked about how Bollywood films are all about commercial success these days recalling the time when his classic Gangs Of Wasseypur was taken off-screens for Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger.
