‘Main Toh Anpadh Aadmi Hu’: Akshay Kumar Heaps Praised On His ‘Dimaag Wali’ Wife Twinkle Khanna; Actor Opens Up About His Partner
Akshay Kumar recently opened up about his wife Twinkle Khanna and credited her intelligence on Shikhar Dhawan’s chat show ‘Dhawan Karenge’
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar never shies away from showering his wife Twinkle Khanna with love and adoration. Despite having been married for decades now, the couple often takes social media by storm with their lovey-dovey moments. Their fans often look forward to their playful banter. Recently, Khiladi Kumar appeared in the premiere episode of Shikhar Dhawan’s celebrity chat show ‘Dhawan Karenge’, where he opened up about his wife and credited her for her intelligence.
Talking about his wife, Kumar lauded her for her intelligence and revealed that even their daughter Nitara has a diligent disposition. He went on to explain how he has not studied much like Twinkle, who is now studying towards getting her PhD degree. Quoted by the Free Press Journal, he said, “My daughter gets her intelligence from my wife, Twinkle. Main to anpadh aadmi hu, zyada padha nahi hu. The 56-year-old actor went on to express that he feels lucky to have married Superstar Rajesh Khanna’s daughter. He added that she is also a lovely wife and a mother. He stated further, “If you get the right life partner, then your life is perfect. I go to work and she has taken such good care of my children. I am surprised about how my wife looks at life even today. She is 50 now and still goes to study. For the unversed, Twinkle quit acting to focus on her family after she tied the knot with Akshay Kumar in 2001. She ventured into writing books and has written Mrs Funnybones (2015), The Legend Of Lakshmi Prasad (2017), and Pyjamas Are Forgiving (2018). She released her fourth book, Welcome To Paradise in 2023.
On the work front, last seen in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Akshay Kumar has Sarfira, Singham Again, Khel Khel Mein, Sky Force, Hera Pheri 3, Kannappa, and the multi-starrer Welcome To The Jungle in his pipeline. He will also be making his debut in the Marathi film industry with Mahesh Manjrekar directorial Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat. He will essay the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
