During the #MeToo movement in India, Housefull filmmaker Sajid Khan was accused of sexual harassment by three members from the film fraternity. The Bollywood filmmaker was accused of sexual harassment by several female actresses and also a journalist. Now, Indian model Paula breaks her silence in a social media post and accused filmmaker Sajid Khan of harassment. The model accused Sajid Khan of harassing her under the pretence of getting a role in Housefull and reveals the reason why she didn’t speak up during the #MeToo movement.
On Instagram, Paula made a post talking about her being harassed by Sajid Khan under the pretence of getting a role in Housefull. The Indian model shared the post with a string of pictures narrating her story with all her fans out there. On Wednesday, in her penned note, Paula alleged that she was abused by Sajid Khan at the age of 17. She wrote, "When #MeToo movement started, a lot of people spoke about Sajid Khan but I did not dare to because like every other actor who has no godfather and had to earn for a family I kept quiet. Now I don't have my parents with me. I'm earning for myself. I can dare to tell that I have been harassed by Sajid Khan at the age of 17 (sic)."
Narrating her ordeal, Paula continued, “He spoke dirty to me. He tried to touch me. He even told me to strip in front of him just to get a role in his upcoming Housefull movie (sic)." She mentioned in her post of how Sajid Khan harassed her to get a role in his upcoming movie Housefull. Paula then said that she understands that she did wrong by not speaking up about what happened with her earlier. Paula went on to talk about how such people must be put behind bars for casting couch and for ‘manipulation and stealing away your dreams’. Read Paula’s post on Sajid Khan below:

Meanwhile, during the #MeToo movement in 2018, several Bollywood actresses raised their voices and accused Sajid Khan of sexual harassment and the makers of Housefull 4 decided to drop his name as a director. On the other hand, Lipstick Under My Burkha actor Aahana Kumra alleged that although Khan did not touch her, he asked her many inappropriate questions when she met him for work purpose.
