"Prakash Jha’s Remark Was On The Intimate Scene And Not Me," Says Lipstick Under My Burkha’s Aahana Kumra
Lipstick Under My Burkha (2017) actress Aahana Kumra, who made headlines with her sex scenes in the film, was appreciated for her bold avatar. Now, two years later, the actress reportedly opened up about an awkward incident that had happened on-the-sets of the film. According to India Today, during an interview with a TV channel, Aahana revealed that a remark made by director-producer Prakash Jha made her uncomfortable while she was shooting a sex scene with Vikrant Massey.

She is said to have told the channel, "I remember once Prakash Jha walked in and there was a scene, where I am filming the sex that is happening. Then he walked in on the set and passed a remark and it was so uncomfortable to hear that from him."

Interestingly, when the news of Aahana Kumar accusing Prakash Jha (the producer of the film) making her uncomfortable hit the web, certain sections of the media reported it as Jha's statement on Aahana made her feel uncomfortable. But look again, in reality she had said Jha passed a comment on the sex scene which got her uncomfortable.

Misconstrued and false reporting which has become the order of the day must have landed Aahana in a spot of bother. While clarifying her stand, she has told IANS, “Mr. Jha has been extremely respectful of all of us actors at every time that we have met him... It's not right to drag his name unnecessarily. The remark was not on me. It was regarding the scene purely.” When the actress was asked about what the remark was she said, "I am not comfortable sharing that."

Now, talking to SpotboyE.com, she reiterated, "As I said, Mr Jha's remark was on the scene, and mind you, strictly so. It was not on me, and not on me at all."
