Ayushmann Khurrana recently made shocking revelations about celebrities hiring stylists and renting their clothes instead of buying them
Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana made a name for himself in the Hindi film industry by choosing out-of-the-box scripts. Over the years, he has created his niche in the industry. After basking in the success of Dream Girl 2, he has been enjoying his time with his family. The actor recently opened up about his peers and revealed that many celebrities don’t buy designer outfits but their hired stylists source it for them so they continue to stay in the ongoing trends.
During an interview with Mashable India, Khurrana opened up about Bollywood celebrities renting their outfits from fashion designers. Quoted by the Free Press Journal, he said, “Pura Bollywood rent pe hai. Aapko lagta hai hum kapde kharedte hai? We hire stylists, they source the clothes and then return them. The 39-year-old actor went on to state that he isn’t that passionate about fashion. He expressed how he prefers to wear simple and comfortable clothes, however, it is his brother Aparshakti Khurana, who has impeccable fashion. Praising his brother, the Vicky Donor actor recalled how his younger brother would style him during his initial days of anchoring. The actor added, “He used to style me. He used to get pocket money for that. Maine bola tu mujhe style karde, ghar ke paise ghar mein aa jayenge.” Further in his interview, Ayushmann lauded Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh’s style. He also credited the Amar Singh Chamkila actor for taking Punjab to a global stage.
On the work front, Ayushmann Khurrana was last seen in Dream Girl 2, co-starring Ananya Panday, Anu Kapoor, and others. Released in 2023, the film received mixed reactions from the netizens as well as the critics. He is yet to announce his upcoming project.
