'Road As Smooth As Katrina Kaif's Cheeks,' Comment By Rajasthan Minister, Leaves People In Splits
Rajendra Gudha, the new Rajasthan minister’s cheeky comment about the roads in the state, left the public attending the event graced by him in splits. Rajendra Gudha who came on board as Cabinet Minister was asked by the public about the bad conditions of the roads. Responding to this, he assured the roads in the state would be as smooth as Katrina Kaif’s cheeks. This comment of the minister compelled the people to burst out into laughter and also clapping.  

Well, Katrina Kaif was not the first choice; it was BJP MP and actress Hema Malini whom he commented on. The minister though mentioned the senior actress’ name he state she has gone old now and hence to set the standards high, he chose Katrina Kaif’s name to give an example. Years ago Lalu Prasad Yadav too has made a similar comment which had actress Hema Malini’s mention. Back in 2019, as per reports in the media, Hema Malini reacting to it had said, “It so happened that I was travelling from Patna to Nalanda for a show. The roads were so bad that I got delayed in reaching the venue. When I expressed my displeasure about the road conditions Laluji promised to make the roads as smooth as my cheeks. Why my cheeks?
