‘Sushant Singh Rajput’s Soul Was Struggling, I Can Feel His Peace’: Shweta Singh Kirti Opens Up About Her Brother’s Death

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise left his fans in shock. Now even years later, his admirers have been patiently waiting for a verdict over his suicide. As people are still grieving over the loss of one of the brightest stars of the Hindi film industry, his sister recently opened up about him. Shweta Singh Kirti, who resides in the US, recently returned to India. During a recent interaction, she opened up about her younger brother’s death.
Talking about the same with YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, Shweta discussed the late actor’s deep devotion to Lord Shiva and how his struggling soul must finally be at peace. In a video shared by the podcaster on Instagram, Kirti is seen telling him how she felt like her brother’s soul was struggling. That he wanted to prove to everyone about the ‘foul play’ that was involved. However, now she feels that his soul is at peace in Kailash. Quoted by Zoom TV, she stated, “Pehle, there was a struggle. Like his soul was struggling. He wanted to prove to everyone ki there was foul play involved. Uske baad, Now I feel he is in Kailash with Shiv Ji. So I can feel his peace.” When asked why she thinks he is in Kailash in particular, she smilingly states that this is what they feel. For the unversed, Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his apartment, in June 2020. His then girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty came under the scanner as she and her her brother, were accused of abetting his suicide. SSR’s case is being probed by CBI but no closure report has been filed yet. Having made a name for himself in Bollywood with his debut movie Kai Po Che!, he became a household name as he starred in the television serial Pavitra Rishta opposite Ankita Lokhande.
