Priyanka Chopra’s fans called out and brutally trolled a British TV show host for mispronouncing her name on live television

Actress Priyanka Chopra has made a name for herself in the Indian entertainment industry as well as internationally. Having tied the knot with American musician Nick Jonas, she made her Hollywood debut with the show Quantico. She is currently one of the most sought-after actresses as she is the brand ambassador for many high-end brands. Recently, a video of a British TV show host, Andi Peters was heard mispronouncing her name, which left her fans enraged.
The viral clip belongs to the show Good Morning Britain and Andi was present near Chopra’s wax statue at the Madame Tussauds in London. In the video, which has now gone viral, the co-hosts of the show Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins ask him who he is standing next to. Peters looks baffled not knowing how to pronounce her name, while trying his best to look for someone who might help him, he says, “This is Chia Chianca Chop Free.” He tries his best to pronounce her name but fails at it. Ray and Hawkins correct him and school him for not knowing who he is standing besides. Quoted by India TV, the tell him, “Honestly, Andi. If you're going to stand next to somebody, at least work out what their name is. Well, Andi’s ‘ignorance’ has certainly left Priyanka’s fans enraged. Many immediately took to the comment section of the post to lash out at him. One wrote, “She is Priyanka the world knows her who are you?” Another wrote, “I used to like Andy - not anymore! That was really rude and it’s not that hard to say her name at all!” Other one wrote, “He can't pronounce Priyanka Chopra but can pronounce 'Owumwewemewewosas' easily?” One commented, “not sure if its racist but bro shouldve learnt her name.” Another commented, “Okay low budget Dave Chappell.”
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra has an exciting slate of upcoming projects. She has Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa, co-starring Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt as well as John Cena and Idris Elba's starrer Heads Of State in the pipeline. She also recently announced that she will be a part of Frank E Flowers’ directorial The Bluff. She will also be co-producing Barry Avrich's new documentary Born Hungry.
