Indian Air Force Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, who was under PAK custody, will return to India in next few hours, Yesterday, Prime Minister Of Pakistan, Imran Khan announced that the IAF pilot will return to his country, today, as a gesture of peace among the two nations. 

As soon as the happy news was announced, Bollywood celebs didn’t take long to tweet about the brave soldier's welcome to his homeland.

Swara Bhasker, Taapsee Pannu, Rajkummar Rao, Sonal Chauhan, Vivek Oberoi among others shared their excitement on social media. Taapsee wrote, “Now this really brought smile to my face!!! Waiting for tomorrow.... with bated breath”

Vivek Oberoi expressed his happiness and wrote, “So glad to hear about the release of #WingCommanderAbhinandan. Our hearts swell with pride and joy and we are all waiting to welcome our braveheart back🙏 Jai Hind 🇮🇳 🇮🇳 #WelcomeBackAbhinandan”

Veere Di Wedding actress, Swara Bhasker wrote, “Pakistan has done the right thing in releasing Wing Cmdr #Abhinandan We welcome this move by @ImranKhanPTI Delighted this brave dignified son of India, our hero will return home soon. India has done the right thing in sending Pak a message that terror will no longer be tolerated”
