Well, yes. Disha Patani had auditioned for the leading lady role in Heropanti, but sadly, she did not get selected. The role went to Kriti Sanon and Disha had to wait for another good role to come her way. She could only make her Bollywood debut with Sushant Singh Rajput's film MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. In one of the interviews with Bollywood Hungama, Disha had briefly spoken about her audition for Heropanti and said, "Actually, I was studying at the time when I came here for a shoot. I wasn’t an actor at all. I didn’t know acting at all. I didn’t know anything. They just called me for an audition and I came. I was horrible in the audition."
