5 Directors To Helm Second Season Of 24

Anil Kapoor surely knows how to nurture a project.
In order to step up the next season of his spy drama 24, the actor-producer has roped in not one but five directors. Bejoy Nambiar, Giggy Philips and Nishikant Kamat have been approached to direct an episode each for the 24-episode show. More directors from the ad world are being spoken to for the same.
Abhinay Deo, the show's key director, is currently busy shooting Force 2 in Budapest with John Abraham and Sonakshi Sinha. He will join the directors in the form of a supervisor.
Rensil D'Silva, who is also the head of the writing team, will be directing many episodes just like he did in the first season. The show is expected to go on floors in November-December this year.
When contacted, Bejoy admitted he was in talks for 24. "We have spoken twice over the phone, but we are yet to formalise the deal." he said.
