Today marks the 50th anniversary of Bollywood’s prestigious production and distribution banner, Yash Raj Films. Having entertained the audience for 5 decades with some of the Bollywood’s marvelous actors starring in it, the banner, in its Tweet, assured fans that they would keep entertaining the audience for the next 50 years. The video shared on YRF's social media handle had images of the movies produced by the banner so far, with the formation of the production banner’s logo towards the end. On this occasion, late filmmaker Yash Chopra’s son and head honcho of YRF Aditya Chopra too penned a heartfelt note. The day also marked Yash Chopra’ 88th birth anniversary.

Aditya Chopra in his note spoke about his father’s journey which began in 1970 only to become a journey which inspired many over the years. The filmmaker in his note also spoke about his directorial debut with Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge in 1995 which was one crazy ride then, and has remained the audience's favourite till date. Also he mentioned in his note, that the banner still has deep-rooted values in their work culture and most important of all people associated with the organization.

He thanked everyone from the actors, to director to staff and people on sets for their faith in banners for 5 decades now. Check out YRF’s official tweet celebrating this day and also Aditya Chopra’s letter below-
