Oscar-winning music director A R Rahman will make his directorial debut with a film and the subject is close to his heart. Yeah, you guessed it right. The film in question will be a musical.
Rahman has joined hands with Eros International to produce the venture, which goes on floors later this year. SpotboyE.com also has it that the movie will borrow few traces from Rahman's life.
A source says, "Rahman was toying with the idea of wielding the megaphone since a long time. He has now cracked the script."
To focus on the same, Rahman is not taking up too much work on the music front until the film is wrapped up.
