Racial discrimination. And, it was terrible.
Kya hua, exactly?
A co-actor of mine and I were staying in Crowne Plaza. But two days back, we shifted to Mercure.
And then?
We do breakfast, every day. But today, a lady from the kitchen I guess came to tell us that breakfast was not included in our stay.
We told her that she was mistaken but she was very rude and continued to be so.
Suddenly, she turned around and said that she doesn't have the whole day to talk to us and disappeared. Her body language was intimidating.
Here at Mercure, there's a clear distinction of who they want and who they don't. The hospitality to we Indians is nothing to be proud of, unlike the hospitality they extend to other nationalities. They just look through us (pauses).

That rude lady has not even apologised, despite me going on social media about the insult. And mind you, Mercure is a big chain of restaurants.
What next?
My co-actor and I are going back to Crowne Plaza. I have sunaoed the Mercure people but all I get as I am about to leave from the hotel is a small note that reads 'We shall look into the matter'. Phew!
