Aamir Khan And Anushka Sharma Are Teaming Up For A Project Based On Spanish Film Campeones? Here’s What We Know

Anushka Sharma and Aamir Khan are two of the most talented actors in Bollywood and their brilliant on-screen performances prove the same. Both have worked together in the 2014 science fiction comedy-drama PK, which was directed by Rajkumar Hirani. Speculations were rife that Anushka and Aamir are teaming up again for a project which is said to be based on the Spanish film ‘Campeones’. It was reported that both the actors were roped in for Campeones' remake and it will be directed by Shubh Mangal Savdhaan director RS Prasanna.
However, now as per the latest report in BollywoodLife, Aamir and Anushka are not reuniting for any project right now. In fact, there are no plans for their reunion in near future. Rubbishing all such reports, a trade source had also revealed to ETimes TV that Aamir and Anushka are not collaborating for any movie. A source was quoted saying, “Aamir and Anushka’s reunion is definitely highly awaited but unfortunately it’s not happening this time! That’s for certain. Meanwhile, Aamir Khan, who recently celebrated his 57th birthday, is gearing up for the release of his film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ with Kareena Kapoor Khan. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film will hit the theatres on 11 Aug 2022.
Anushka, on the other hand, is making her comeback to films after three years with ‘Chakda Xpress’. The sports drama, which is based on the life of Indian cricket captain Jhulan Goswami, will also mark her debut on OTT. The Sultan actress was last seen in the 2018 film Zero opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
