Aamir Khan Pitches In With Naga Chaitanya; Shows Up Uninvited At The Latter's Movie, Love Story's Pre-Release Event
At a pre-release event to promote Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi-starrer Love Story in Hyderabad Sunday, Aamir showed up uninvited and spoke glowingly about Naga Chaitanya.
At a time when veteran Telugu actor Nagarjuna Akkineni’s family is under media scrutiny for son Naga Chaitanya’s reportedly troubled marriage with actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Aamir Khan has unexpectedly come forward to express his solidarity with the Akkineni parivar.
At a pre-release event to promote Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi-starrer Love Story in Hyderabad Sunday, Aamir showed up uninvited and spoke glowingly about Naga Chaitanya. A source from Hyderabad tells me, “This was clearly a move to give Naga Chaitanya a clean chit in the ongoing Naga-Samantha split stories. It was very sporting of Aamir to show up uninvited.”
Apart from the film’s leading cast, director Sekhar Kammula, producers Narayan Das K Narang, Suniel Narang, and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao were also present at the event, while Chiranjeevi, and Telangana minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav graced the ceremony as the chief guests.
Aamir and Naga Chaitanya had recently shot together for the Aamir-starrer Laal Singh Chaddha in Ladakh where Naga had sportingly agreed to step into a cameo part after Vjay Sethupathi opted out. Ever since then, Aamir has taken a shine to Naga giving him career and relationship advice.
Aamir arrived at the event in Hyderabad with Naga Chaitanya and proudly announced that he had gatecrashed as he wanted to say some things about Naga. He then proceeded to praise Naga’s soft spoken nature and his spirit of generosity. Aamir even praised Naga Chaitanya’s parents for the upbringing that they had given him.
"A few days back, I watched the trailer of Love Story. I liked it very much and told Chay that I would love to be there at the event. I met Chay for the first time for Laal Singh Chaddha, and working with him on the sets was a nice and special experience. I wanted to tell his parents that he is so well brought up but then I decided to come here and tell this to his fans too. Almost every day, I and our team miss you, Chay. I am very excited to see Love Story in a theatre on the 24th September. All the very best to the entire team," Aamir Khan said.
